The Calvin University Knights ACHA D3 Hockey Team defeated the Western Michigan Broncos 3-0 on Friday night.

In the first period the Knights came out very strong and found the first goal of the contest about halfway through the frame. The goal came from Ethan Tulp with the assist from Kevin Patterson. 

At the end of the first period the Knights were leading 1-0. The Knights outshot the Broncos 18-5.

In the second period the Knights extended their lead to two goals. The second goal for the Knights came from Keegan Oberski with the assists from Joe Lugge and Tanner Dey.

At the end of the second period the Knights were leading 2-0. The Knights outshot the Broncos 18-6.

In the third period the Knights sealed the deal with a goal from Dey with the helper from Avery Anderson. 

At the end of regulation the Knights came out victorious 3-0. The Knights outshot the Broncos 42-21 for the game.

Knights Goaltender Garrett Walker shut out the Broncos with 21 saves.
