COACH: "We struggled some today," said Calvin assistant cross country coach Al Hoekstra. "Michelle Koetje had a great race. She was in contention for second place until the very end. She is starting to really come on strong. It's a really tough course. I thought we went out appropriate with a good game plan but hats off to Hope. They beat us on a tough course. They just ran away from us. Now it's time to refocus and reset get ready to run the regional meet on our home course. It will be a great opportunity to us to run in a big race in front of our own fans."
