COACHES COMMENTS: "This was a good win for our team heading into Christmas break," said Calvin women's basketball coach Mark Christner. "I told our team at halftime to play with confidence and to be aggressive shooting the basketball. I thought our team responded well and I was really pleased with our intensity and assertiveness in the second half. We've had a challenging first half schedule. Now it's time to regroup, refocus and get ready for the second half of the season."
