COACHES QUOTE: We are happy to get those two wins in our home opener against a good opponent. Offensively, one of our goals was to score first which we did in the first game. We left a few too many runners on base, but we did execute early in both games. Defensively, we need to continue to work to play a little smoother and clean up our errors. Pitching wise, Ellie and Anna did well, but both know they can still be even more efficient in their pitch count and as a staff, we have to continue to work on cutting down on the walks. Overall, two nice team wins to get us read to open conference on Thursday.
UP NEXT: The Knights travel to Alma on Thursday to take on the Scots for a double header beginning at 3:30 p.m.
