"It was a good start for us this season we had a very strong leader, Katie Diekema. She ran away from the field and posted a nice time on a soggy course. It sets us up for a good season. We had some nice performances. I'd like to see us have a little more depth in that middle part of our pack, we were pretty spread out" head coach Brian Diemer stated.
The Knights will travel to East Lansing, Mich. Friday to compete at the Michigan State Spartan Invitational. The women's race will begin at 12:15 p.m.
