Calvin Women's Track and Field Competes at GVSU Last-Chance Meet

ALLENDALE, Mich. - A small group representing the Calvin women's track and field team competed at a last-chance meet hosted by Grand Valley State University Wednesday afternoon.

In the 800 meters, sophomore Margaret VanWylen (Holland, Mich./Holland Christian HS) was eighth (2:32.76).

In the 1500 meters, freshman Angeline Needs (Peru, Il./Saint Bede Academy) was fifth (5:08.17), freshman Taylor Ten Pas (Lynden, Wash./Lynden Christian HS) was seventh (5:16.38) and freshman Kelli Laube (Caledonia, Mich./Caledonia HS) 12th (5:44.88).

A larger group of Calvin track and field athletes will compete at the Dr. Keeler Invitational Thursday and Friday at North Central College.
