Calvin Women's Track and Field Lands Trio on USTFCCCA Great Lakes All-Region Team
Three members of the Calvin women's track and field team have received Great Lakes All-Region honors as named by the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association.

Those three individuals are senior Jenna Dyksen and juniors Katie Diekema and Erin Van Lenten.

In order to receive all-region accolades, individuals needed to be ranked in the top five of their respective event on the NCAA III performance list.
 
Dyksen hails from Hawthorne, New Jersey. She is a graduate of Hawthorne High School. She had the top time in the Great Lakes Region in the 60 meter hurdles (8.94), the second-best leap in the long jump (18-2 1/4) and the third-best leap in the triple jump (36-4 3/4).
 
Diekema is from Kenmore, Washington. She is a graduate of Inglemoor High School. She has the second-best time in the Great Lakes Region in the mile run with a time of 4:55.52. She has qualified for the NCAA III Indoor Track and Field Championships in the event this weekend in Birmingham, Alabama.
 
Van Lenten is from Hawthorne, New Jersey. She is a graduate of Eastern Christian High School. She was ranked fifth in the Great Lakes Region in the pentathlon with 3,006 points.
