Five members of the Calvin women's lacrosse team have received All-MIAA honors.
Schneeemann, Slachter, Gagnon and Van De Burg are all making their first appearance on the All-MIAA First Team.
An attacker, Schneemann is from Farmington. She is a graduate of Farmington High School. This spring she finished third in the MIAA in conference play in goals (34) and second in points (43).
Also an attacker, Slachter is from Grand Rapids and is a graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High School. She finished fifth in the MIAA in goals (26), seventh in points (35) and 11th in assists (9). Gagnon is from Minooka, Illinois. She is a graduate of Minooka High School. Gagnon was a stalwart for Calvin on defense, scooping up 15 ground balls, winning 36 draw controls and causing eight turnovers. She finished sixth in the MIAA in draw controls won.
Van De Burg is a midfielder. She hails from Lowell and is a graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High School. She was a multi-threat player for the Knights, scoring 20 goals along with 14 assists for 34 points. She finished ranked fourth in the MIAA in assists, ninth in goals and eighth in points. She also collected 14 ground balls, caused six turnovers and won two draw controls in league play.
Hall is from Harare, Zimbabwe. She is a graduate of Chisipite High School. A midfielder, Hall finished 10th in the MIAA in ground balls (26), 20th in draw controls (15) while causing six turnovers.
Calvin finished the year with an overall record of 11-7 while finishing third in the MIAA regular season standings with a 6-2 conference record.
