Calvin Women's Lacrosse Picked to Repeat as MIAA Champions

The Calvin women's lacrosse team has been picked to repeat as MIAA regular season champions.

The Knights received seven of a possible eight first place votes in the MIAA preseason coaches' poll released earlier today. Hope and Albion each received one first place vote.

The Knights have won three out of the last four MIAA regular season titles including the last two. Under the direction of seventh-year head coach Blake Boehm, the Knights have advanced to the NCAA III Tournament each of the last three years and have compiled a 39-7 all-time conference won-loss record including 31-1 over the last four years.

Calvin is scheduled to open its 2019 season on February 23 when it travels to Lawrence Tech for an 8 p.m. non-conference game. Calvin is slated to open its MIAA schedule on March 30 when it journeys to Adrian.
