Women’s Golf Closes Season at Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Calvin women's tennis team finished the season at the Trine Invitational. The Knights finished in second place at 386 strokes. Trine led the way at 349 strokes.

"Today was a nice way to end the season," said head coach Dr. Jerry Bergsma. "I would like to thank our seniors for everything that they have done for our program."

Freshman Linnea McDonough (Pentwater, Mich./Pentwater) finished in fourth place at 90 strokes.

In sixth place, senior Gen Best (Brighton, Mich./Brighton) finished at 96 strokes.

Junior Katy Hamilton (Grand Rapids, Mich./Catholic Central) was a stroke behind at 97 strokes.

Freshman McKenna Smith (Bridgman, Mich./Bridgman) finished in the top-10 at 102 strokes.

Freshman Amanda Scholten (Wyoming, Mich./Calvin Christian) was 11th at 103 strokes. Senior Elizabeth Scholten (Wyoming, Mich./Calvin Christian) walked into the clubhouse at 105 strokes.
