Women’s Golf Finishes Fifth at MIAA Jamboree

MARSHALL, Mich. – The Calvin women's golf team finished the first MIAA Jamboree tied for fifth place. The Knights finished the day tied with Trine at 353 strokes. Hope took first place at 309 strokes.

Junior Emilee McCusker (Hayward, Wis./Hayward) finished in ninth place at 81 strokes.

Sophomore Nicole VanderYacht (Kentwood, Mich./South Christian) recorded a round of 84 to finish tied for 13th place.

Senior Amira Bousaab (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northpointe Christian) tallied a round of 89 to finished tied for 28th place.

Tied for 45th place was sophomore Grace Bolt (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) and freshman Jessica Zylstra (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northpointe Christian) at 99 strokes.

The Knights return to action on Saturday when they travel to Saint Mary's for the second MIAA Jamboree.
