Calvin Men's Swimming and Diving Defeats Rose-Hulman in Non-Conference Meet

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin men's swimming & diving team defeated Rose-Hulman 177-110 in a non-conference meet on Saturday afternoon at Venema Aquatic Center.

Calvin had a handful of first place performances. 

Winning the 200 medley relay was Ben Holstege, Sam Holstege, Jared Britton and Noah Holstege with a time of 1:32.66. 

Brian Goins won the 1000 freestyle recording a time of 10:18.92. 

In the 200 free, Tim Randall won with a time of 1:46.65. He also won the 100-Yard Free in 48.07. 

Ben Holstege won the 100 backstroke in 49.83. He also went on to win the 100 fly in 51.13. 

Winning the 100 breaststroke was Skyler Fish with a time of 59.09. Fish went on to win the 200 backstroke in a time of 1:59.65.

In the 50 free, Jared Britton hit the wall first with a time of 21.01.  

Closing out the meet winning the 200 free was the team of Britton, Ben Holstege, Noah Holstege, and Tristan Hazlett with a time of 1:24.82. 

The Knights return to action next Saturday with half of the roster competing in a dual meet at Olivet and the other half competing in a triangular with Chicago and DePauw.
