Calvin Men's Golf Finishes Fourth in Round Two of MIAA AQ Spring Tournament

WEST OLIVE, Mich. – The Calvin men's Golf team finished in fourth place in the second 18-round of the MIAA AQ Spring Tournament at Wuskowhan Players Club. 

Finsihing in first place was Hope College with a score of 300. Kalamazoo College was second with a 302 followed by Trine University with a 308 and Calvin with a 330. 

Leading the Knights was senior Alec DeJonge (Niles, Mich. / Brandywine) and freshman Mike Battiste (Grand Rapids, Mich. / Forest Hills Central) with a round of 81 each. Freshman Andrew Lack (Northville, Mich. / Detroit Catholic Central) was next with an 83. Senior Sam Kuiper (Grand Rapids, Mich. / Grand Rapids Christian) and sophomore Sam Holland (Novi, Mich. / Detroit Catholic Central) shot an 85 each.  

The Knights return to action on Saturday for the third round of the MIAA AQ Spring Tournament at Wuskowhan Players Club. First tee time is at 9 a.m.
