The Calvin College Knights are proud to officially announce the commitment of Riley Robertson.

Riley is a 6'6" Defenseman from the Listowell Cyclones in the GOJHL.  He joined the Cyclones as a 17 year old and over the past 4 seasons, Riley played in 105 games while compiling 23 points.  Prior to that, Riley played for the Coburg Cougars in the OJHL as a 16 year old and appeared in 28 games.

Riley was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2012 OHL Priority Draft by the Erie Otters.

Head Coach Mike Petrusma had this to say about Riley and his commitment to the Knights:

"This is the second year in a row that we're bringing in a defenseman from Listowell and the 4th player from the GOJHL in the past 3 seasons.  The Cyclones run a top-notch program and I believe the level of play in the GOJHL translates very well to our league.  I believe that Riley will come in and contribute at a high level right away.  I'm as excited for his fit in the locker room as I am on the ice.  He's shown leadership abilities on past teams and with what will likely be a very young team, his Junior experience will be invaluable."
